Apart from walking on beaches and around the zoo in Mogo, we had a few more ecological walks. One took us around Broulee Island at low tide and was very picturesque with extensive views of the coastline along with a lot of rock-hopping as we circumnavigated heaps of suspended rock pools at low tide. There was even a cultural surprise, about which more later. Emily, Greg, Rebecca and I made up the intrepid exploration party.
A view across to Burrewarra Point, the subject of the next post and a beautiful environmentally protected area.
Lovely view northwards towards distant mountains.
The next two photos show a remembrance 'garden' on the headland, the likes of which I'd never seen before in such an idyllic location.
A view southwards to more distant mountains
My lovely daughters!
South Broulee beach ... a venue for body-boarding and beach sculpture, as we've seen in recent posts.
Everyone agreed it's a magical spot?
